1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Mumma (“the Platform”), operated via mummaly.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mumma.

2. Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. When registering:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, process, and use your personal data, including for marketing purposes where you have opted in.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

3. Membership and billing

Mumma offers paid membership plans:

  • Standard membership: billed monthly.
  • Annual membership: billed once per year.

Payment terms:

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Prices are displayed in AED and include applicable taxes.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@mummaly.com.

4. Community guidelines

Mumma is a safe, supportive space for mothers. All members must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Be respectful: treat all members with kindness and empathy. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Be honest: do not share misleading, false, or harmful information, especially regarding health, safety, or medical advice.
  • No spam or self-promotion: unsolicited advertising, multi-level marketing, or excessive self-promotion is not allowed without prior approval.
  • Protect privacy: do not share personal information about other members or their children without consent.
  • Report concerns: if you see content that violates these guidelines, report it to our moderation team.

Violation of community guidelines may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our discretion.

5. User content

When you submit content to the Platform (questions, answers, reviews, images):

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • You grant Mumma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform and in promotional materials.
  • You confirm that you have the right to share the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.
  • Content you delete from your profile may remain in cached or archived versions temporarily.

6. Intellectual property

The Mumma name, logo, website design, and all original content created by Mumma are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Platform without our written permission.

7. Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), WhatsApp (community groups), and others. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Mumma is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Limitation of liability

Mumma provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for advice or information shared by community members.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any deals, events, or listings on the Platform.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Mumma in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms or community guidelines.
  • Your account is involved in fraudulent or illegal activity.
  • You have outstanding unpaid charges.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Active memberships will not be refunded upon termination for cause.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
